Carta Group was established in 2008 by Paul Hayward, following the sale of his Saywell Group, a long time highly successful furniture import-distribution company in Australia and New Zealand. The goal was to specialise in high quality, small-medium residential projects in inner suburban Melbourne.
Working initially with leading architectural practices Neil Architecture and CHT Architects, Carta Group quickly made a mark on the industry with highly successful, innovative projects in Kensington (Centennial Apartments) and Richmond (Maze Apartments).
The business has rapidly grown, maintaining focus on high quality construction, attention to detail in all aspects, and a practicality in design.
Projects recently completed include August Apartments and Access Apartments, both in Balwyn, and 290 Bridge, a commercial/residential redevelopment in Richmond. Four exciting new Projects — Newry St, Richmond; Johnston St, Abbotsford; Alexandra Pde East, Clifton Hill; and Battery Point (TAS) are currently in our pipeline.
